Synchronic dv is the first, truly compact, zero-diaphragm, high-flow diverter valve with a blistering actuation time measured at 25 milliseconds. Mass air flow (maf) and speed density (map) applications can apply the new design in push or pull orientation with the ability to fully re-circulate or vent-to-atmosphere the valve's discharge.
Construction is based on near-net investment casting of aerospace-grade aluminum for the body, followed by post-process cnc machining of all components including the forged billet 6061 actuator assembly. Many production cast iron and aluminum blocks suffer from a design weakness of cylinder stability by nature of poor support at the upper deck area. The manufacturing process of "cast in sleeves" provides for economy of scale in low horsepower engines, but does not accommodate high horsepower, high boost, or larger bore sizes. This new agency power y-pipe gets rid of 70% of the stock boost hose length and reduces the bend by about 45 degrees for a straight shot to the intercooler. Why replace the OEM diverter valve with an "FVD diverter valve"?
Under higher boost pressures the Bosch valve can start to leak (plastic housing). The plastic cover begins to lift off the sealing face as the internal spring's resistance is exceeded. Our diverter valve is made out of aluminum.

From the factory, Porsches turbo models come with a bulky, restrictive cast intake air distributor plenum and inadequate diameter piping to the intake side of the turbochargers. This piping also causes a difference in boost pressure of up to .3 bar between the left and right side turbos and is not suited for higher horsepower applications.
In order to obtain tuning gains over 530 hp for turbocharged vehicles it is necessary to install our FVD intake plenum kit. The lightweight aluminum FVD intake plenum kit balances the boost pressure between the turbochargers and significantly increases the volume of the intake air to the turbos.
